Before submitting your order please read:

When submitting your order, In Your Home Furnishings will make sure everything gets to you in perfect condition.  To do this, we need you to please check for accuracy of each item you are purchasing.  Please check for the following:  item numbers, sizes, finishes and fabrics.  Your order will be ordered exactly how it is submitted.  It is also important to take measurements to make sure the furniture you are purchasing will fit through your house and can be placed in the area of your choosing.  All measurements shown on the web site are estimated by the manufacturer.  On our web site we strive to provide you accurate information from the manufacturer as such but not limited to finishes, fabrics, measurements, styles.


Up to ½ deposit is required on submitted orders. When the furniture arrives at our distribution center customer service will notify you for the remaining balance with personal check, money order and credit card. Your complete order must be paid in full before we can deliver or you can pick up your furniture order.

Split Shipment:

If a split shipment for any item on your order is approved, you will be required to pay the balance in full. Additional delivery fee also will apply on your second shipment.

Change of orders:

Order changes will only be allowed when In Your Home has the ability to change the order with the manufacturer. Each permitted order change will require a $25.00 handling charge. Requests for order changes must be in writing and signed by the customer and must be sent by U.S. mail or e-mail.

Cancelled orders:

You many cancel your order any time after you place your order.  If your submitted order has not been acknowledged by the manufacturer then there is no charge to cancel.  If your submitted order has been acknowledged by the manufacturer then there is a 25% restocking fee of your subtotal.

However, if your order has already been picked up by you the consumer or the shipper then you will be responsible for a 50% restocking fee. 

If at the time of delivery is you decide you do not want the furniture or maybe it will not work with your décor then you can refuse delivery, at this point you would be charged 50% restocking fee and the delivery fee.  All items must be brought back in original boxes and undamaged.

Delivery charge:

Quotes for delivery charges are based on normal delivery conditions.  The delivery quote you receive is guaranteed to be within 10% of the quoted price not withstanding any special items or situations.

Special items or situations must be agreed upon at the time the order is submitted.

(Example: limited hours of access to your neighborhood, building or grounds, elevator to your home or restrictions of access by large trucks.

The customer would be responsible for any additional delivery charges including those which exceed those quoted by In Your Home Furnishings.

Expected time of delivery:

The delivery depends mainly on the availability of the manufacturer.  Availability changes by the day at any manufacturer.  We average estimated fourteen  business day turn around to our distribution center if items are in stock, custom orders average estimated six to eight weeks to our distribution center.  Customer Service can check an estimated availability during manufacturer business hours.  Local deliveries are on a two week turn around.  Out of state deliveries are on thirty day turn around once your furniture arrives at our distribution center.  There is always a chance your order will be delivered sooner but In Your Home Furnishings would rather under promise and over deliver.

Please note that these are estimates, no guarantee!

Remember we are at the mercy of the manufacturer.  If we see there will be an unusual delay in your shipment, we will notify you.  Custom orders take six to eight weeks due to manufacturer’s lead times.

Holding your order:

You will be notified when your order is received at our distribution center.  In Your Home Furnishings will hold your order once the balance is paid in full for your length of time needed.

If we are holding an order for you please let us know two weeks in advance for local deliveries and thirty days for out of state deliveries.  If you are picking your furniture up please refer to warehouse hours.


Pre Delivery:

You will be notified when your furniture arrives at our distribution center.  You may choose to pick up at our distribution center, or have your furniture arranged to be delivered by our trusted carrier.  In the event that you choose your own carrier, all items are considered and treated as an “AS IS” purchase and may not be returned under any circumstance.  Transportation companies travel many miles and make numerous deliveries.  The delivery service will make every effort to meet your scheduled delivery time, but please remember delays may occur due to unseen circumstances that are beyond our driver’s control.  Have your rooms and pathways cleared out.  Any existing furniture that is moved by the delivery drivers is $15.00 each.

(Example: Headboard $15.00, Footboard $15.00, Rails $15.00)

If you cannot be present, then a responsible, trusted individual over the age of 18 must be present to fully inspect and accept the furniture on your behalf.  The signature of your representative on the Bill of Lading binds you with the respect to all aspects of the acceptance of the delivery.  All aspects of the acceptance of the delivery including the condition of the items delivered.


Deliveries are made by two experienced and trained delivery men.  If the location of the delivery is not accessible by our delivery truck then it is your responsibility to provide transportation from the truck to the location of delivery.

If your order is undeliverable for any reason, the furniture will not be delivered and you will have to pay a 25% restocking fee and delivery charge.  If the movers have difficulty placing an item in the area of your choosing due to limitations such as doorways, hallways, stairways, corners, ceiling heights, the item will be placed in another area of your home.

Our delivery team will take every precaution to respect and protect your home but if you insist the movers maneuver an item in a difficult situation, you will be responsible for any resulting damages to the furniture and the premises.  The movers cannot alter any construction of the furniture.  The movers cannot touch or hook up any electronics or put together any baby cribs.  The movers are not permitted to dispose of packing materials and those items will be left with you.

Defective furniture:

All the furniture sold comes with a manufacturer warranty.  The warranty is not covered by In Your Home  All precaution is taken to uphold first quality of your furniture purchase but occasionally things happen.  In most cases, defects are of minor nature and can be cleared up by sending our experienced technician to your home.  In the event you receive a piece of furniture that you are not totally satisfied with, send it back with the movers, notate on the Bill of Lading the issue or damage and the store will address the issue in a timely manner.  If the damage is noticed after the fact, please send photographs clearly showing the damage along with a written description so that we can submit the warranty claim to the manufacturer.  The manufacturer will be responsible to manufacture back to first quality or replaced.  If your delivery is taking place during business hours please feel free to contact us and we will help you resolve any issues.  If your delivery is taking place after normal business hours your lead delivery man will have a contact number for customer service 24/7.  Please take your time and inspect before you sign your Bill of Lading, as it is much easier to handle any issues while out delivery team is at your home.  For extremely simple fixes in some cases we can send parts to your home.

(Example: Handles, drawers, feet, hardware, etc.)  We will ask that you put them on.

There are no express warranties of merchant ability or fitness for a particular purpose that apply to this sale.  In Your Home (Dan Dill Inc.) is not liable for damage of any sort including incidental and consequential damages.
